Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with varying shifts including days, swings, or nights, and may include weekends and holidays. Work Location: San Francisco International Airport – Airport Integrated Operations Center. You will lead a collaborative team responsible for analyzing, forecasting, and planning for future operations as part of SFO's
Airport Integrated Operations Center (AIOC) . The AIOC will be SFO’s 24/7 guest-centric nerve center with end-to-end visibility through a common operating picture. Your Impact: Oversee, coach, and develop the Operations Planning team. Lead the Operations Planning section to develop capacity in strategic and tactical operational analysis. Deliver data-driven performance plans for SFO operations. Plan, develop, and implement predictive analytics tools. Provide expertise on data-driven performance and resource-planning tools. Collaborate with SFO’s Planning & Environmental Affairs team. Provide real-time reports during unexpected events. Drive new and innovative projects to enhance operations. Lead the development of a culture of planning and reviewing principles. Collaborate with AIOC and SFO staff to increase information sharing. Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Drive standards compliance and viability of AIOC sections. Perform other functions outlined in the 0923 – Manager II job classification. How to qualify
Education:
Possession of a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university, AND Experience:
Five (5) years of professional airport/aviation work experience in facilities or operations at a medium to large airport. Substitution:
Additional qualifying full-time work experience may substitute for education. What you'll bring to SFO: Knowledge in data and statistical analysis within an operationally focused organization. Knowledge in aviation trends and forecasting. Experience managing and training professional-level staff. Ability to drive organizational transformation projects. Ability to develop operational and customer experience optimization strategies. Verification:
