We are seeking an organized and proactive
Executive MBA Student Experience Manager
to support the operations and student experience for the University of Utah’s
top-20 Executive MBA program . This position focuses on delivering high-quality services to students and managing the logistical and operational aspects of the program. The Student Experience Manager will play a key role in
enhancing the student experience , coordinating events, and supporting the overall operations of the program.
Responsibilities
Student Experience & Program Operations
Manage aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Executive MBA program, ensuring program activities are delivered efficiently.
Serve as a resource for students, offering support and guidance throughout their academic journey and resolving issues related to student services.
Coordinate and execute student-focused events and activities, including class days, orientation, social events, intensive weeks, and more.
Event Coordination
Plan and organize student events, such as networking sessions, guest speakers, alumni gatherings, and social hours, fostering a strong sense of community.
Support class days and other program events, ensuring smooth execution by handling logistics, including catering, room setup, scheduling, and IT support.
Student Communication & Support
Serve as a point of contact for students regarding program logistics, events, and updates, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Coordinate communications such as email announcements, reminders, and program updates to keep students informed and engaged.
Address student inquiries promptly, providing high-quality customer service.
Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Support
Collaborate with admissions team to support recruiting efforts and provide insights to prospective students.
Assist with onboarding and enrollment processes for newly admitted students by verifying documentation, organizing orientation sessions, and delivering essential program information.
Faculty Support
Conduct pre-course meetings with faculty to assess support needs and preferences.
Coordinate the timely procurement and delivery of course materials, including books, cases, and syllabi.
Manage faculty needs within the classroom and Canvas platform and provide ongoing course management support.
Data Management & Student Records
Maintain accurate student records and databases, ensuring all program-related information is organized and kept up to date.
Contribute to reports on student engagement, retention, and attendance.
Budget & Financial Support
Track and manage budgets related to events and programming, ensuring responsible use of resources.
Reconcile bills and assist with financial tasks related to program activities.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Preferences
A bachelor’s degree is required; experience in program management, student services, or event coordination is preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Willingness to work every other Saturday to support class days and program events.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving program needs and student expectations.
