Warehouse Associate

$20.00 TO $26.00 per hour

Position Overview: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of picking, packing, and movement of all products within the warehouse, freezer, cooler and dry goods.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains material handing equipment by completing pre-use inspections
• Prepares finished orders by identifying, preparing Label cartons, and Pallets for shipment to customers
• Prepares labels and receives incoming product for storage in freezer and cooler
• Prepares, pulls, and stages product for daily processing
• Moves and Transfers product as necessary with electric pallet jack or forklift
• Uses scan gun and/or TI Station to complete all inventory transactions
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems
• Enforces Good Manufacturing Practices and safety regulations
• Complies with all USDA guidelines for shipping and receiving.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

• 1 year experience working in a warehouse receiving and distributing materials

• 6 months’ experience working with an electric pallet jack and/or standup forklift
• Professional demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience working in a warehouse
• 1 year experience in a meat processing environment
• USDA trained

• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
