Position Overview:
As a Senior Director of Project Management at Volition, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving the successful implementation of renewable energy projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, and a proven track record in managing complex construction projects. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Effectively communicate project goals, timelines, and expectations to internal teams, clients, and third-party construction partners.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance the overall customer experience.
Renewable Energy Expertise:
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of solar, battery storage, and various renewable energy products.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Project Management:
Lead and coordinate all aspects of project management, including engineering, permitting, installation scheduling, and coordination with local utilities.
Develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Process Management:
Streamline and optimize project processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee the construction process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Team Leadership:
Manage and lead cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Effectively collaborate with third-party construction teams to achieve project milestones.
Requirements:
Proven experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
Expertise in customer experience management.
In-depth knowledge of renewable energy products, with a focus on solar, battery storage, and HVAC systems.
Ability to navigate and manage the complexities of construction projects, from planning to execution.
