Job Description As a Recruiter based in Denver, CO, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top talent to join our team of financial advisors. Primary responsibilities include building high-level, quality relationships outside and inside the firm to promote the Northwestern Mutual career, generate referrals, and develop influential connections. You will execute recruitment strategies, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for cultural fit and skill alignment. Primary Responsibilities: Recruiting and Selection Build and develop effective candidate referral sources through personal connections, Centers of Influence (COI’s), existing financial advisors/staff Facilitate strong candidate selection process by conducting initial interviews and administering selection tools and guiding candidates through follow up meetings until offer is given Effectively communicate with prospects through persistent and professional outreach and candidates through consistent and proactive touch points Actively participate in community organizations to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual and build connections in the community that will yield referrals long term Help with maintaining and updating selection process to achieve incredible candidate experience Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices Recruit 10 new full-time advisors a year Accountability, Tracking, and Additional duties Work closely with the executive leadership team to drive growth across the network office as a team Develop proficiency and use of home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in selection process; establish and implement improvements Support advisors post selection to help them be successful Track recruitment activity and prepare reports as directed by leadership Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field Minimum of 3-5 years work experience, preferably in sales, entrepreneurship, leadership, recruiting, or the financial services industry; huge plus if been in a commission based or new client acquisition reliant role Demonstrated ability to work independently and professionally as a team member and with all levels of people Experience with prospecting, generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions preferred Strong personal network and/or community involvement to leverage from a recruiting perspective; Huge plus if well connected in the Denver community Developed intrapersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving recruitment goals Passion for developing talent and fostering a positive work culture Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Compensation This position will pay $55,000 - $65,000 in annual salary depending on experience bonus (to be determined within first 90 days) ranging from $10,000-$15,000 annually 100% employer paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, 401k match PTO after waiting period, paid holidays, and paid parental leave Growth Path This person will have the ability to make a huge impact on the growth of this office, which will lead to additional responsibility and trajectory within the firm.
