Job Description
US Water is a fast growing company with over 800 employees in 20 states. Our headquarters is in New Port Richey, FL 34652. We provide services to design/build and operate/maintain water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure throughout the US.
The Recruiter executes full-cycle recruiting procedures and best practices to attract talent to the Company and source passive candidates. The Recruiter partners with Hiring Managers to clearly identify roles, responsibilities, and requirements. They screen, interview, and assess candidate match to job requirements. The Recruiter leverages our ATS, social media platforms and other recruiting tools to find, evaluate and process candidates and keep them interested to build a talent pipeline for consideration.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
- Manage assigned job openings and recordkeeping requirements on ATS.
- Optimize recruiting efficiency and effectiveness using ATS system tools
- Verify position needs with a Hiring Manager job intake
- Draft and update job descriptions to accurately communicate job opportunities
- Establish qualifying screening questions and interview questions custom to the job's needs.
- Enhance the company's ability to reach target talent and increase the number of qualified applicants.
- Leverage free and cost-effective social media platforms to post opportunities.
- Review, evaluate and status applicants in the ATS.
- Recommend communication plans to maintain pipeline of interested candidates.
- Enhance recruiting processes and communication with the candidate experience and Hiring Manager satisfaction in mind.
- Obtain feedback from Hiring Managers on Quality of Hire at 3 and 6 months and 1 year after hire. Identify process improvement ideas to increase quality of hire.
- Plan for and represent company at job fairs and business conferences.
- Elevate awareness of US Water as a major employer and Water/Wastewater as a great career opportunity.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to understand scope of job requirements and identify unique and cost-effective ways to attract talent.
- Schedule and conduct telephone screening interviews.
- Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience level and aptitude to learn new practices and be resilient to change.
- Present top 3-5 candidates to Hiring Manager for review.
- When needed, schedule candidates for interviews with Hiring Managers.
- Check professional references for top candidates.
- Assist Hiring Managers to create job offer and coordinate offer letter.
- Prepare new hires for onboarding activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, human resources, or related field plus 5+ years' experience in full-cycle recruiting as an internal company resource, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- AIRS Recruiting Certification desired (PRC, CIR, CDR, CSMR, and/or CTR)
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to cold-call passive applicants and get them interested in our job opportunities.
- Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
- Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); UKG Pro Recruiting preferred.
- Familiar with OFCCP's Internet Applicant rules and recordkeeping requirements.
- Familiar with HR systems; UKG Pro preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to draft job descriptions, offer letters, and interview candidates via phone, video-call, and in-person.
- Previous experience in Water Utilities construction or operations/maintenance service industry preferred.
- Must be fluent in English to speak, read and comprehend.
