Recruiter:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruiter to join our HR team. This role will primarily focus on talent acquisition (75%) while also contributing to various HR projects (25%). The ideal candidate will possess a strong recruiting background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing the overall employee experience.
ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruiting (75%):
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of positions across the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to onboarding.
- Manage the Intern program.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, and networking.
- Maintain an organized and efficient applicant tracking system.
- Build relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Conduct reference checks and facilitate the offer process.
HR Project Work (25%):
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
- Support employee engagement and retention efforts through various projects.
- Contribute to the enhancement of HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and development initiatives as needed.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and improve recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects related to talent management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in ADP WorkforceNow required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but within a strategic framework.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments at the same time; and know how to prioritize them.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Professional Human Resources certification strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate the production facility.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
