Whidbey Health in Coupeville, WA is seeking an experienced leader to accredit and manage its specialty pharmacy. Additionally, via a PIC, the position would also indirectly manage one and possibly a second traditional retail pharmacy. Finally, the position would be involved in business development and expanding the financial impact of all pharmacy operations.
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday - Friday 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Responsibilities:
With assistance from Cardinal health SMEs, successful implementation of specialty accreditation.
Direct supervision of specialty operation.
Indirect supervision of one and possibly two retail pharmacies via PIC management.
Ensuring adequate staffing is present to fulfill the needs of the pharmacy or pharmacy department.
Maintaining accurate records of all prescription medication received and dispensed.
Ensure policies are in place regarding accurate dispensing and labeling of prescriptions and those policies are followed.
Maintaining that pharmacy and all pharmacy personnel comply with all Federal and State statutes, rules and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
2 years pharmacy management experience, 3-5 years related pharmacy experience preferred.
Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
Immunization Certification or willingness to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
Multitasking and time management skills.
ACHC and URAC experience preferred.
340B knowledge preferred.
Anticipated salary range:
$118,000 - $177,030
