Job Overview:

As a Full-Time Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and hiring experienced software developers for our Platform and Tool Development teams. We are specifically looking for developers with strong expertise in building developer tools and a solid background in UI design and development from top 10 US schools. This role will be based in our San Francisco office, where you will work closely with engineering leadership to identify and recruit top talent.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Talent Sourcing & Recruitment: Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to identify and attract senior software developers with expertise in platform development, tool development, and UI design.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for senior-level developers, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering, and closing candidates.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Work closely with engineering leaders to understand team needs, define job requirements, and develop customized recruitment strategies to meet these needs.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Screen candidates for technical skills, including platform development, tool development, and UI expertise. Assess candidates' ability to build scalable, efficient, and user-friendly developer tools and platforms.
  • UI Expertise Focus: Specifically target candidates with experience in creating intuitive, visually appealing, and high-performance user interfaces, particularly for developer tools and internal platforms.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs, ensuring a strong roster of UI experts and tool developers.
  • Employer Branding: Promote the company’s culture, mission, and values to prospective candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Work with HR and leadership to attract diverse talent and foster an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Track recruiting metrics and use data to improve recruitment processes, identify trends, and continuously refine strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on recruiting senior software developers, particularly for platform and tool development roles.
  • Proven success recruiting for high-growth startups or tech companies that scaled rapidly (e.g., from 10 to 100+ employees).
  • Expertise in recruiting developers with at least 10 years of experience in platform development, tool creation, and UI design (especially for developer tools and internal software platforms).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a reputable U.S.-based institution.
  • Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work on-site in our San Francisco office.
  • Technical Understanding: A basic understanding of software development, platform engineering, and UI design principles is highly preferred to effectively communicate with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior technical talent.
  • Recruiting Tools & Systems: Proficient in recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Lever) and familiar with applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for SaaS, cloud-based, or enterprise software companies.
  • Strong network in the software development, platform engineering, and UI design communities.
  • Experience recruiting for both front-end and back-end tool development with a focus on UI and developer experience.
  • Knowledge of design systems, front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), and other UI frameworks is a plus.
