SUMMARY
Havtech's dynamic HR team is growing and in search of a talented Senior Recruiter to join the team. The ideal candidate will have progressive experience in full-cycle recruitment, who is proactive, results-driven, and passionate about driving organizational growth.
As a Senior Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, presenting, and closing qualified candidates for open positions for all of our office locations. You will collaborate and ensure effective communication with hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure an excellent hiring experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Build collaborative relationships with hiring managers to understand hiring goals and develop recruiting strategies to effectively meet them.
- Source qualified candidates – identify, evaluate, manage, and close candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers and leadership about open positions.
- Build and maintain relationships with a pool of both active and passive talent within the HVAC industry.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies for difficult to fill positions.
- This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week onsite at our Columbia, MD location.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in full life-cycle recruitment. Related industry experience (engineering, construction or HVAC) is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills – acts as an influencer in hiring manager decisions.
- ATS experience, familiarity with job boards and social media hiring platforms.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet competing deadlines.
- Must be an energetic team player, who enjoys working with people and that wants to make a major contribution to the business by finding the right talent!
