Aquatics Director
will manage all aspects of the aquatic department including the initiation and implementation of new programs, the training, and supervision of staff, and the evaluation and modification of these initiatives. EXCELLENT BENEFITS!! AMAZING

YMCA Membership Job Responsibilities: Create and schedule swim lessons, leagues, and other water classes. Conduct or orchestrate training for lifeguards, swim instructors, & occupancy staff (First Aid, and CPR courses as well as occupancy trainings). Collaborate with Fitness on cross-training fitness programs. Communicate all aquatics-related programming and events via social media, online, and through all intra-branch and inter-branch methods available. Develops and monitors program budgets to meet fiscal objectives. Organizes and schedules program registrations. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of and participation in the program. Monitor daily pool operations to adhere to all state, local, and YMCA health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of staff certifications. Conducts monthly risk management audits and facility inspections. Position Skills and Experience : Education:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred. Experience:
3-5 years of professional experience including experience in aquatics, and supervising others, and leading teams. Certifications:
Current CPR, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, Lifeguard, Lifeguard Instructor and swim lesson instructor certifications. CPO or POOL certifications are a plus. Join the Y! Where Work Is Play!
