My client is dedicated to innovation, precision, and building a strong, engaged workforce. They're seeking an HR Generalist with experience across core HR functions and talent acquisition to support their manufacturing environment. This is an ideal role for a versatile HR professional who can balance generalist duties with targeted recruiting efforts. Must live in the Cleveland area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations & Support: Act as a key point of contact for employees, addressing HR questions and promoting a supportive workplace culture. Work closely with teams across the organization to foster a positive work environment.
- Talent Acquisition: Support full-cycle recruiting for a range of roles within our teams. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, coordinating hiring processes, and guiding managers on best practices for selecting top talent.
- Onboarding & Orientation: Manage onboarding to ensure new hires have a smooth start, conducting orientations and coordinating the completion of new hire paperwork, including benefits enrollment.
- HR Policy & Compliance: Ensure understanding and adherence to HR policies, staying up-to-date on employment laws and regulations pertinent to manufacturing. Conduct audits, update policies, and support compliance initiatives.
- Training & Development: Facilitate employee development programs, including training on compliance, safety, and professional growth, to foster ongoing improvement and learning.
- HR Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on key HR data and metrics, including recruiting and onboarding trends, to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Administrative Support & Project Management: Assist with benefits administration, payroll support, and employee engagement initiatives. Provide administrative support on HR projects and special initiatives as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: 5+ years in an HR Generalist role, with a strong emphasis on recruiting and employee relations. Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field preferred; an Associate's degree with equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required; experience with HRIS platforms like UKG is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: High-energy team player with excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships and foster a positive work environment.
- Organizational Skills: Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
