As an HR Business Partner at Beef Northwest Feeders, you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives and providing strategic HR support to our organization. In addition to traditional HR functions, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that drive organizational success. This role will be split between duties as an HRBP (60%) and Talent Acquisition (40%).
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
- Partner with Senior Leadership to understand business goals and objectives and develop HR strategies that support organizational growth and performance.
- Proactively identify HR trends, challenges, and opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Drive initiatives related to talent management, succession planning, workforce development and planning, and organizational development.
Employee Relations and Performance Management:
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Partner with managers to address performance issues, develop performance improvement plans, and foster a culture of continuous feedback and development.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on HR-related topics to enhance managerial capabilities and promote a positive work environment.
Talent Acquisition and Development:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Partner with Learning and Development teams to design and implement training and development programs that align with organizational goals and employee career paths.
- Support employee career development initiatives, including career planning, coaching, and mentoring programs.
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Partner with Finance to conduct salary benchmarking and develop compensation structures that attract and retain talent.
- Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, and communicate effectively with employees about their compensation and benefits packages.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize HRIS systems and data analytics to track key HR metrics and generate reports that provide insights into workforce trends, employee engagement, and performance.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to enhance HR programs and processes.
- Prepare and present HR metrics and dashboards to senior leadership to support decision- making and drive business outcomes.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compilation with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws.
- Partner with legal to address HR-related risks and develop policies and procedures to mitigate compliance-related issues.
- Support audits and investigations related to HR compliance matters and ensure timely resolution of any issues.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on strategic HR business partnering.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, including ATS and Paylocity or similar.
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives and actions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive insights and decision-making.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects from conception to implementation.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
