Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is excited to announce the opening of a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to the Anesthesia group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services.

Responsibilities

The Department of Anesthesiology at South Brooklyn Health consists of 12 anesthesiologists who follow an expanded Anesthesia Care Model. We take a leadership role in guiding the perioperative process, closely collaborating with our surgical and nursing teams.

• ACGME Application: Collaborate on the ACGME application process for the establishment of an anesthesia residency program.
• Research: Engage in data-based and clinical research, fostering an environment of innovation within the Department of Anesthesiology.
• Education: Share your knowledge and expertise through lectures for our Department of Anesthesiology staff, while also providing valuable educational support to our Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Surgery residents.
• Opportunity is 21 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Skill in Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia is a plus
• New graduates are welcome!
• An active NYS License is required

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $234,000* (board eligible); $240,000* (board certified) based on 24-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $382,400** (board eligible) and $389,000** (board certified).

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
• Projected bonus of up to $21,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
