The Role
Oversees the operations of a construction site, from planning to completion. Responsible for the performance of all subcontractors ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees and subcontractors to adopt safety as a culture.
Qualifications:
4+ years’ experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor
Ability to manage all resources, including vendors and subcontractors, and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines and successfully deliver high-quality projects
Must demonstrate a strong ability to:
Adapt and be flexible to frequent changes in a fast-paced work environment
Demonstrate integrity consistent with Centennial’s core values
Collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with people of various backgrounds
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear and professional presentation of information
Adapt to evolving technology and systems, including Microsoft Office suite, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field highly desired
Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Work with Project Manager to review and provide input on the project scope of work; Control all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements; Organize daily safety inspections; Complete daily project reports; Manage punch-list completion and project closeout. Subcontractor Management:
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and job site operations in accordance with Centennial's Superintendent’s Manual. Scheduling:
Work with the Project Manager in outlining project timetable and update schedules to ensure project activities progress according to plan. Safety:
Ensure compliance with Centennial’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines and procedures along with all local requirements (OSHA, USACE EM385.1.1, etc.). Responsible for driving between project sites that are often miles apart. Occasional travel may be required. The physical demands include the ability to walk uneven terrain, sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear, as well as lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The compensation range for this position is $70,800.00 - $115,664.00, based on experience, training, and education.
