Job Summary:
Expert in selling special media directly to advertising agencies as well as direct new or existing clients. Under the leadership of the General Manager, this role will manage the sales of our specialty media to achieve targeted sales revenue goals and cultivate a culture that ensures an industry-leading media company.
Sales / Marketing:
Create a sales and marketing strategy for the LA Specialty Portfolio.
Develop sales and pricing strategies to maximize asset performance and continue revenue growth.
Create data-driven and dynamic marketing materials to promote the media portfolio.
Internal sales reporting and revenue analysis (revenue management / budgeting / forecasting / sales trends).
Coach and support sales team to reach portfolio budgets and drive property revenues.
Present media solutions to clients, agencies, and specialists.
Real Estate Management / Development:
Manage the partnerships / relationships for all LA Specialty Media business properties (13 Malls / 2 Digital Walls / 9 wallscapes).
Manage a two-person operations team (Operations Manager, Specialty Media & Lifestyle Coordinator).
Grow and cultivate relationships with property owners / managers, serving as the primary point of contact for all specialty media assets.
Manage financial reporting for all properties (revenue management / budgeting / forecasting).
Responsible for all operations regarding the physical property (repairs, maintenance, PR around controversial advertisement).
Address ongoing requirements, inquiries, and complaints from property owners and partners to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate with and meet regularly with property owners for business updates.
Enter, maintain, and routinely audit data, reports, and electronic files to ensure accurate accounting and record keeping.
Monitor competitor activity.
Identify and develop new signage / specialty property projects through RFPs and bids.
Establish new relationships and continue to expand on existing relationships with company partners, key developers, and landlords.
Prepare, present, and negotiate agreements with property owners for the purpose of securing new or existing real estate assets.
Develop the sale strategy, operations, pricing, design, and line up key advertisers.
Assemble the presentation.
Lead the presentation/pitch to property owner/investors/banks.
Negotiate Terms.
Responsible for development and execution of strategic growth plan.
Responsible for signage development efforts focusing primarily on securing new locations and upgrading existing sites (conversion of static displays to digital).
Your Qualifications:
Exceptional client-facing skills along with interpersonal skills; the ability to work with all levels of Employees, Management, and C-suite Executives.
Excellent verbal and written skills; along with presentation and influencing skills.
Highest level of integrity.
Exceptionally detail-oriented and able to develop and prioritize assignments and deadlines.
Ability to effectively work at a fast pace and under pressure.
Proficient Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Knowledge of CRM software preferred.
7+ years proven industry experience. Experience, knowledge, and understanding of the mobile/digital advertising ecosystem a plus.
7+ years sales management and leadership experience, and demonstrated track record of successful revenue ownership and team development with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Exceptional use of social media as a route to market.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $150,000-$225,000 per year. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
