Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday FinancialsMinimum of 5 years of experience selling Workday Solutions or other ERP SolutionsMinimum of 8 years of sales experience in a professional services organizationA Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) of work experience(If associate degree, must have minimum of 6 years of work experience)Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environmentProven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environmentDesire to work in an information systems environmentExcellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsExcellent leadership and management skillsProven sales leadership originating and closing technology services opportunitiesConversant in all emerging trends in IT and BusinessClient facing (from deal qualification through close)Has or will earn credibility with Technology and other executivesUnderstands Accenture’s offerings including supporting differentiation and value propositionsAbility to network across Accenture, establish trust-based relationships internally to get support for client sales objectivesHigh energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressureStrong facilitation and communication skills - both written and verbalTeam player of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and characterStrong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to interface and negotiate with senior client executivesApplicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United StatesResponsibilities

They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles, laterally, upward, or in their current roleSales professionals drive the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closureThe Sales Director Workday Financials manages the opportunity from sales pursuit to close using deep sales process and offering expertiseDevelop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and/or existing clients; protect and grow the businessAct as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internallyProvides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectivesInvolved in setting strategic direction to establish near-term goals for area of responsibilityInteracts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing significant mattersHas latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignmentsIdentifies key stakeholders and builds relationships at clients within assigned territoryUnderstand and communicate the client’s needs and strategic initiativesIdentify potential sales opportunitiesCreate and manage account plans to track and close opportunitiesEducate the clients stakeholders on products and servicesRaise Accenture brand awareness across the industryDevelop and enhance relationships with Workday Account ExecutivesManage RFP responses and presentationsTravel may be required for this roleThe amount of travel will vary from 25 to 100% depending on business need and client requirementsBenefits

In addition to base pay, this Sales role is eligible for additional incentive compensation under the Sales Achievement Bonus Plan which is based on achievement toward individual sales targets, subject to Plan terms
