The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric and medical assessment, treatment, clinical supervision, education, and training. The ACT Psychiatrist serves as a key member of treatment and works in conjunction with other team members to ensure that psychiatric services are integrated into the clients overall treatment.

The Position: We’re looking for Board Certified Psychiatrists
Pay rate negotiable based on experience and certifications
Schedule: we are hiring for 10-16 hours per week on site and in the community, schedule is flexible
Position Requirements:
Completion of an MD Residency training program in Psychiatry.
Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry and licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina.
Valid driver’s license including personal vehicle insurance coverage.
Experience treating adults living with serious and persistent mental illnesses.
Responsibilities:
Our Licensed Psychiatrist provides psychiatric assessment and treatment in the community where people live and work.
The psychiatrist acts as a member of clinical leadership for the team and provides clinical supervision, education, and training to RHA ACT staff.
The ACTT Psychiatrist serves as a key member of treatment and works in conjunction with other team members to ensure that psychiatric services are integrated into the clients overall whole person centered treatment.
This position would work in collaboration with not only other RHA staff but health care professionals in the community. Relies on experience, knowledge, and judgment to provide services with limited supervision and direction.
The Location: RHA ACT Team is located in Forest City, NC and serves the communities of Rutherford and McDowell counties.
