Warehouse Associate Part Time Job at PrideStaff in San Clemente

A local philanthropic non-profit organization is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to help out during the holidays. Their mission is to assist those in need in Orange County with resources for food, shelter, and personalized supportive counsel and aid; helping clients bridge the gap from dependency to self-sufficiency.

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for general warehouse work and is expected to last through the end of the year. The pay is $19 to $20/hour and the hours will vary (approximately 20 to 25 hours a week).

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Carry out and model best safety practices while in the warehouse while operating warehouse equipment.
• Receive donated food; weigh and record receipt of food, sort and eliminate food items.
• Unload, sort, and properly store products in designated areas.
• Communicate effectively, organize, and take initiative.
• Follow instructions, including food safety guidelines.
• Complete paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
• Assure cleanliness of equipment and cleaning the warehouse.

Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Basic computer skills: E-mail, Internet, basic typing skills for texting and entering timesheets.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
• Regularly required to stand, move around the warehouse, stoop, reach, use hands, and bend.
• Works well independently with minimum supervision.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
