Groundskeeper: The Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall upkeep of property grounds, and common area.

Groundskeeper: The Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall upkeep of property grounds, and common area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Keep all buildings and common areas free of debris and trash, including anywhere visible to students and parents
- Repair fences, gates, walls, and walkways
- Paint fences and outbuildings
- Clean out drainage, ditches, and culverts
- Perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, etc.
- Make minor repairs on all maintenance equipment
- Notify supervisor of hazardous conditions and safety issues
- Assist with inclement weather needs (i.e. floods, snow, ice, etc.)
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior grounds-keeping, landscaping or related work experience required
- Certified Pool Operator designation preferred (if applicable)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to use hands and fingers
- Ability to speak, see, and hear
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to walk and climb stairs
- Ability to think, concentrate, and communicate
