Unearth Critical Insights from Open Sources to Support US Army Pacific Are you a seasoned Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst with a passion for uncovering valuable information from publicly available data? If so, this US Army Pacific (USARPAC) OSINT Analyst position within the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) could be your ideal opportunity.
In this critical role, you'll play a vital role in supporting USARPAC missions by:
Open-Source Intelligence Collection:
Utilizing advanced intelligence analysis tools to gather, analyze, and integrate publicly available information relevant to USARPAC priorities. Threat Analysis:
Conducting in-depth research to produce comprehensive intelligence assessments on conventional and irregular ground forces within the INDOPACOM region. Intelligence Products:
Developing a wide range of intelligence products, leveraging both open-source and classified data, to inform critical decision-making. Research and Collaboration:
Managing complex research projects, collaborating with collection managers to identify intelligence gaps, and developing effective collection plans. To be successful, you'll possess:
Security Clearances:
An active Secret clearance with a demonstrated ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a polygraph. Education and Experience:
A Master's degree in a related field with 10 years of OSINT experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 15 years of OSINT experience, or a minimum of 17 years of experience as an OSINT Analyst on DoD programs. Intelligence Expertise:
Demonstrated proficiency in all-source intelligence processes, data analysis, and research management. OSINT Mastery:
In-depth knowledge of OSINT methodologies, tools, and databases. Analytical Skills:
A mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Communication Skills:
The ability to clearly communicate complex intelligence findings in both written and verbal formats. An ideal candidate will also possess:
Foreign Language Fluency:
Fluency in a foreign language relevant to the INDOPACOM region is desirable. DoD and IC Knowledge:
A strong understanding of DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) processes, standards, and analytic tools. Technical Expertise:
Knowledge of complex analytic methodologies and experience with technical studies and reports. Military Operations:
Familiarity with conventional and irregular warfare concepts and operations. By joining USARPAC as an OSINT Analyst, you'll play a critical role in leveraging open-source intelligence to empower informed decision-making and safeguard US interests in the INDOPACOM region.
