General Accountabilities
- Greets customers in an upbeat and friendly manner
- Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, etc.
- Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers as needed.
- Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Calculates total payments received during a time period and reconciles this with total sales at the end of shift.
- Assists the managers with various clerical duties as needed.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
- Operate telephone system.
- Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
- Maintains clean and orderly checkout area
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS. THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION.
