Program Manager

Washington, DC. SUMMARY: Provide aviation administrative services to support squadron personnel for the Commander, Naval Air Forces (CNAF). RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change. Provide Squadron Administration services, meeting Navy policy and instruction mandates, to ensure responsive and efficient administration service requirements are met. Process leaves, pay, personnel and check in/check out requirements in an accurate and timely manner per established guidelines and directives. Provide travel services to personnel to ensure efficient processing of orders, travel arrangements, and invoice processing. Management of the Citibank Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) program. Requirements: A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in supervisory or managerial position in a U.S. Navy activity (preferred), Department of Defense (DoD) or U.S. Coast Guard activity (acceptable) as a uniformed service member, civil servant or contractor employee performing Routine Administrative, Personnel Administrative Support Services, or Travel Administrative Support Services. US NAVY Aviation Experience - O3 and above required Knowledge of Navy correspondence and records management procedures. Experience with Navy Aviation Squadron organizational structure and their relationships to Type Wing Commanders and Type Commanders. Acceptable: Knowledge of correspondence and record management procedures used by Department of Defense (DoD) components or the U.S. Coast Guard other than the U.S. Navy. Working knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS). Minimum of bachelor’s degree. Active Secret Clearance. Preference given to:
Supervisory or managerial position in a U.S. Navy activity.
