Business Development Executive

to join our team.

TCG is pleased to offer remote employment in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, CT, DE, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NC, OH, OR, PA (excluding the City of Philadelphia), SC, TN, UT, VA, WV, and WI.

Either US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to and pass a background investigation.

In this role, you will be expected to grow revenue across an account portfolio by leading and winning new contracts. This position is ideal for an established business development executive, an entrepreneurial program/project manager, or a technologist with a history of growing Federal programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute business development and capture plans that secure new contracts within targeted accounts to support annual corporate revenue goals. Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers in target agencies to drive new contract wins and revenue. Establish and nurture relationships with teaming partners to drive new contract wins and increase TCG's win probability and breadth of eligible opportunities. Independently generate leads to fulfill pipeline objectives. Manage the opportunity pipeline for accuracy and currency of data. Lead the full life cycle of business development, capture strategy, and proposal strategy activities associated with targeted opportunities. Participate in and collaborate with proposal development teams to articulate TCG's value for each opportunity. Establish pricing strategy through research, intelligence gathering, and data analysis for deals within assigned portfolio. Lead/support the negotiation and coordination of contracting and delivery of client agreements. Collaborate with delivery executives to hand off client relationships and deal details after wins to ensure successful contract execution.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Proven experience in the application of sales methodology, technique, and best practices. Minimum of 7 years in the government IT industry, 2 years of which should include leading sales efforts in a government business development or technical capacity. Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and lead problem-resolution efforts in a fast-paced environment. Comprehensive knowledge about the technologies used and trends in government technology. Strong experience in facilitating and mediating discussions. Demonstrated ability to instruct and lead others. Expertise in government sales, capture management, proposal development, leadership, delivery, and other sales and technical documentation production. Has a track record of working independently and demonstrates creativity and responsibility in all tasks without waiting for direction from others.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Existing, trusted relationships in target Federal Civilian agencies. Expertise in areas that complement TCG's capabilities. Knowledge of PMBoK, Agile CMMI, ISO, and ITIL.

EDUCATION: Bachelors preferred though not required. Miller-Heiman or Shipley Associates training preferred. PMP, CSM, or CSPO certifications are a plus.

Internal title/grade: Business Development Advisor, Grade 10 Salary Range: $154,000 - $170,000
