We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role is in the Government sector and requires skills in customer service, data entry, and calendar management. It offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support, managing inbound and outbound calls, and coordinating meetings.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Manage inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and ensure confidentiality
• Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings, ensuring no conflicts in the calendar
• Provide customer service by resolving inquiries and providing information as needed
• Handle email correspondence and ensure timely responses
• Oversee the tracking of invoices and manage the data entry process
• Use Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for various tasks
• Assist in some aspects of event planning and preparation
• Interact professionally with city officials and elected officials who visit the office.• Experience in answering inbound calls and managing both inbound and outbound calls
• Proven ability in providing exceptional customer service
• Proficiency in data entry tasks
• Strong skills in email correspondence
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently
• Experience in maintaining, managing, and handling multiple calendars
• Familiarity with various calendar tools such as Google Calendar, Electronic Calendar, and ProLaw - Calendaring
• Experience in calendar management and calendaring
• Proven record in attending and coordinating various meetings including pre-bid meetings, committee meetings, customer meetings, department meetings, and executive meetings
• Ability to distribute meeting minutes accurately and promptly
• Experience in facilitating both in-person and virtual meetings using platforms like Cisco Webex and GoToMeeting
• Proficiency in using editorial calendars for content management
• Experience in annual report preparation and participation in annual meetings
