Job Description
We are in need of an Administrative Assistant for a contract position with our client located in Oakland, California. The role is centered around providing support for a local community college.
This role is on-site, working Monday to Friday and is anticipated to last around 3 months.
• Use multiple application portals and excel for administrative tasks.
• Adhere to privacy laws in all operations.
• Handle open enrollment processes, benefits selection and provide high volume customer service.
• Work empathetically with a diverse population, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
• Schedule appointments and manage inbound and outbound calls effectively.
• Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks.
• Conduct data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Handle email correspondence professionally and promptly.
• Answer inbound calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls and emails, ensuring efficient communication across teams.
• Demonstrated customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Proficient with technology and able to pick up new systems and processes quickly
• Manage fast paced tasks while paying superb attention to detail
• Moderate math skills
• Proficient in data entry tasks, able to input and manage data accurately and speedily.
• Experience in managing email correspondence, with strong writing and editing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, able to perform data analysis and create reports.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for managing email communications
• Experience in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating, editing, and formatting documents.
• Proven ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings effectively.
