Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the organization by handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role ensures the smooth functioning of office operations, supports staff members, and enhances organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers and staff
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, memos, and presentations
- Order office supplies and ensure equipment is properly maintained
- Assist in event planning and coordination, both internal and external
- Support project management tasks and track deadlines
- Coordinate with vendors and manage office-related logistics
- Perform data entry, maintain databases, and ensure accurate records
- Provide support in human resources tasks such as maintaining personnel files and onboarding new employees
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
