Seeking a Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Specialist to drive business analysis and quality assurance activities to implement a new case management system for a federal agency.
We are seeking a Microsoft Business Analyst for a Remote opportunity. All applicants must be a US Citizen with an active Public Trust clearance and local to the DMV area. No Exceptions!!! The BA/QA Specialist will work with the Client Product Owner, Client Business Owner, and Development Team to develop user stories and functional requirement documents to describe the application requirements to support the project scope, as well as ensure the solution delivered fully satisfies customer needs and expectations.
Additional responsibilities include: Supporting the interaction with various business stakeholders to gather, organize, and evaluate business requirements Documenting and reviewing the business requirements with various business and technology stakeholders Converting meeting minutes, business requirements, and other source material into User Stories Facilitating Agile ceremonies Developing and utilizing test plans and scripts Assist the development team in debugging and reproducing reported issues Aligning and supporting user acceptance testing activities Preparing various deliverables and other document artifacts
Required Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field At least 6 years of experience working as a business or systems analyst in gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional requirements Proficient in translating high-level business requirements into user stories Experience working with Microsoft technologies (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Online) Proficient using Agile management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira Experience in taking comprehensive notes in meetings, even if the subject matter is unfamiliar Experience planning and coordinating quality assurance testing including writing test scripts, preparing test plans, and developing UAT material Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience using Microsoft Visio and Project Experience in Federal Government Consulting Must be a US Citizen
