Administrative Assistant
Joining Brown Immigration Law as an Administrative Assistant gives you the opportunity to help provide strategic mobility solutions to the most innovative and rapidly growing companies in the world. Brown Immigration Law focuses solely on delivering successful business immigration outcomes to a wide variety of startups and established businesses located in top global financial centers, including New York City and the Bay Area. Our approach is to make the complex, simple - by handling the details so our clients may realize their dreams. This role primarily provides operations support to our attorneys and paralegals.
Responsibilities in this role include:
Routine clerical and administrative functions, such as greeting clients, answering phones, managing attorney calendars, and scheduling appointments
Perform filing, copying, and organizing incoming and outgoing mail
Maintain client files, creating and tracking courier shipments
Restocking supplies, general office cleaning, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed
Manage info@ email along with BlueDot reminders and Department of Labor reminders
Run personal and business errands for the Leadership Team
Qualifications:
Required
Strong attention to detail
Solutions oriented
Exceptional language and grammar skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Highly dependable and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Must prioritize responsibilities effectively
Excellent planning and organizational skills
A positive attitude, rivaled only by a passion for helping others
Preferred
2 years of college education
2 years of experience in a professional business setting
Benefits and Compensation:
Hourly pay: $17 - $20 adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors.
Eligible benefits include 25 days paid time off, annual bonus, 401(k) plan, affordable health and vision plans, free dental, life, and disability coverages, and a health savings account.
