Administrative Assistant (Regular Full-Time)
Exhibitions Administration
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Exhibitions, the Administrative Assistant supports a team of four that manages multiple exhibition projects and permanent collection rotations. This position is key to coordinating those activities and disseminating exhibition information to departments across the museum.

Responsibilities
Provides general administrative support to the Exhibitions department.
Schedules all Exhibition related meetings and coordinates planning.
Coordinates with internal teams to review and distribute official exhibition information.
Regularly updates internal exhibition calendars and schedules.
Responsible for maintaining repositories of exhibitions data.
Assists the Exhibition Programs Coordinators with the development and administration of exhibition touring projects.
Updates and maintains programmatic financial and budget tracking documents.
Provides financial analysis and budget development assistance under supervision.
Processes vendor payments and staff reimbursements generated by the department.
Assists with the review of all exhibition related invoice requests prior to approval.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Benefits
The expected hourly rate for this Los Angeles, CA based position is $20.00 - $21.95 , subject to change, and the position is eligible for LACMA’s comprehensive benefits package, including pension plan.

Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Art History, Business, or Accounting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of a second language other than English (Spanish, Chinese, or Korean) is useful but not required.
Excellent computer skills with strong command of Microsoft and Google workspaces. Knowledge of The Museum System, (TMS) and/or cloud-based project management software a plus.
Collaborative nature, flexibility and helpfulness. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Previous museum experience in an administrative role is useful but not required.
