Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Senior Financial Administrative Assistant to support the Operations Support Bureau. The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support by independently defining, analyzing, and making recommendations to maximize efficiency within the organization in areas related to budget, systems and procedures, program, facilities planning, management, and personnel.
The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 06/30/2025 with potential renewal.
Pay Rate-
$40.15/hr working 40 hours a week

Work site: Currently 100% telework, when the department locate the new facility then work schedule will be Hybrid (2 days in the office) in Los Angeles Area.

Job Duties
Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze and make recommendations for the solution of budget, expenditure, and revenue needs. Participate in budget planning and make recommendations on staffing financing, services and supplies, and capital expenditures. Analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations on purchasing, leasing, siting, equipping, and space planning related to COVID-19 and DPH needs.
- Run large volumes of data reports utilizing data warehouse and eCAPS. Sort and filter raw data in excel in order to capture required information for management. Convert data into management summaries. Provide weekly updates to management on expenditure trends. Project expenditures, revenues, and any potential short falls.
- Approve invoices and/or payments. Work with other units on finance questions related to funding sources and allowable costs. Create, track, and disseminate project codes and inform units on how to track expenditures. Communicate and follow up with other units on contract implementations, invoicing, payment amounts, and projections. Work with units to understand if funding sources will be fully utilized within required deadlines.
- Review and analyze raw data, data warehouse, and eCAPS to carve out expenditures related to specific funding sources in order to fully maximize revenue. Research costs and working with units and their staff to understand what category each expense may fall under
- Bachelors Degree, MS Excel proficiency and three years' experience in a staff capacity analyzing and making recommendations to maximize efficiency in the following areas: organization, systems and procedures, programs, facility planning, budget, and personnel, one year of which must have been in a responsible staff capacity in the administrative staff organization of a department or a central administrative staff organization; and
- A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
