YOUR ROLE:
The Director of Implementation Engineering at CEVA North America will lead the strategic implementation of new business initiatives across the region. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of new business implementation, managing a team of highly skilled professionals, including Implementation Industrial Engineers, Automation Engineers, Facility Managers, and Reporting Analysts. The primary focus of this role is to ensure seamless and efficient implementation processes that align with CEVA's growth objectives, operational standards, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Implementation Engineering function across North America, ensuring alignment with CEVA's corporate goals and client expectations.
Lead and manage a team of Implementation Industrial Engineers, Automation Engineers, Facility Managers, and Reporting Analysts, ensuring all team members are motivated, trained, and focused on achieving project goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and growth within the implementation engineering function.
New Business Implementation:
Oversee the end-to-end implementation of new business initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Lead the design and engineering of facility layouts, automation solutions, and operational processes tailored to client requirements.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices, optimizing resources, and enhancing operational efficiencies in all new business projects.
Project Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for new business implementations, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage project deliverables, risks, and contingencies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical oversight and guidance on all aspects of implementation engineering, including industrial engineering, automation, facility management, and reporting.
Ensure that automation solutions are effectively integrated into new business operations, optimizing efficiency and reducing costs.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of implementation projects and identify areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Management:
Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the implementation process.
Act as a key point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, addressing concerns, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets for the Implementation Engineering function, ensuring that all financial targets are met or exceeded.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
Talent Development:
Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the Implementation Engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members, ensuring they are equipped to meet current and future challenges.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Engineering Management is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, implementation, or operations management within a logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environment. At least 7 years of experience in a leadership role, managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
Technical Skills: Strong expertise in industrial engineering, automation, facility management, and reporting. Familiarity with logistics and supply chain technologies, including WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience managing large-scale, complex implementations. PMP certification is a plus.
Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, forecast costs, and deliver projects within financial targets.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
