Working with the Health Affairs Operations Support team, manages the daily execution of one to two moderately complex projects or phase(s) of a larger project. Ensures the project’s goals, purpose, and criteria for success are clearly defined. Provides project management, analytics reporting, and accountability. Develops and documents project plans and timelines. Plans, prioritizes, and executes a broad range of initiatives and activities to ensure successful design, implementation, and measurement of department projects and initiatives.

Additional responsibilities include: Manages assigned projects, coordinating with department staff, key workgroups, steering committees, provider partners, and leaders to effectively design project charters, plans, and timelines. Identifies and uses appropriate project management tools and concepts. Provides leadership and guidance to Project Coordinators and Interns as needed. Creates work products and project deliverables independently. Understands and meets expectations for deliverable quality and timeliness. Escalates issues and resets priorities as needed. Conducts and/or supports complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of project data to assess the feasibility of new/revised processes. Utilizes data analysis to support decision-making, summarize findings, draw appropriate conclusions, and effectively communicate results to the team. Effectively facilitates meetings to successfully collaborate and build consensus with other staff and stakeholders. Monitors, evaluates, and reports on the progress of projects. Anticipates, identifies, and resolves issues, communicating major issues and proposed approaches to senior leadership to inform decision-making. Produces and executes senior-level presentations, recommending strategy and program design. Utilizes internal communication, analytics, and financial expertise to develop strategy recommendations. To Qualify, you must have: Associate's Degree and three years of progressive experience in healthcare management, project management, consulting, or a closely related field. Knowledge of clinical concepts, terminology, workflows, preferably in pediatrics or child services. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of project management software is a plus. Excellent communication skills, including an ability to understand and explain complex concepts, including presentations of a body of work to key partners and stakeholders, orally, in writing, and in presentations. Capable of demonstrating effective professional communication skills, including diplomacy, discretion, and a customer service mindset. Ability to work in a dynamic setting and to apply available tools, experience, and knowledge to develop and implement flexible processes and solutions for routine and ad hoc tasks. Ability to independently research complex issues and data and to succinctly synthesize and articulate findings for various audiences. Demonstrated effective diplomatic skills and ability to use good judgement and discretion. Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills; ability to effectively manage internally in a matrixed organization and with external organizational awareness.
