Tournament Director – Basketball

We’re seeking a proactive and dedicated Tournament Director for Basketball to lead the Basketball Department in growing that branch of AC Sports Group. This is a full-time position focusing on creating, building, and growing the AC Basketball Brand to follow the success of the sports in the AC Sports Group. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our implementation strategy and growth strategy for AC Basketball and ultimately, AC Sports.

We seek an individual who: Demonstrates experience in the basketball tournament space, preferably in a dynamic sports-related setting. Possesses exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Displays strong communication skills to foster relationships with teams and facilities. Shares our company values, embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Has an outgoing personality and is not afraid to hear “No” or fear failure. Bonus Strengths and Skills:
Past experience running basketball tournaments. Strong organizational and technology skills. Very active with social media. What Does Success Look Like in This Role?

What You’ll Do (But Also Not Limited to These Tasks):
Secure facilities to rent for weekend tournaments. Recruit teams to participate in our tournaments. Act as the primary contact for teams and facilities. Schedule tournament games, referees, and staffing. We Hire for Strengths – Not Job Positions or Job Descriptions.
