Location: Lomita, CA
Position: Part-Time, Temp to Hire
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule Options:
- 3 days per week, 8-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant with a background in medical administration, particularly with experience in filing and managing medical documents. This part-time position is based in Lomita, CA, and offers a flexible work schedule. After an initial training period, the successful candidate will be expected to work independently, managing their workload efficiently and maintaining a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filing & Document Management: Organize and file medical records, ensuring all files are updated, accurate, and easily accessible.
- General Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day office tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to emails.
- Data Entry: Accurately input patient information and medical data into the system.
- Organization & Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner.
- Positive Attitude & Teamwork: Collaborate with team members while maintaining a cheerful and professional demeanor.
- Independence: After training, work with minimal supervision, managing daily tasks independently while adhering to office protocols and policies.
Qualifications:
- Medical Administrative Experience: Previous experience working in a medical office setting, particularly with filing medical documents, is highly preferred.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is essential when dealing with medical records and sensitive information.
- Positive Attitude & Flexibility: Open to taking direction and eager to contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Independence: Ability to work efficiently and independently after the initial training period.
