Our client in the transportation industry is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team! Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and pay close attention to detail? The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing office administrative support, including managing supplies, coordinating schedules, and assisting with day-to-day office operations.

Location: Sterling, VA
Compensation: $20.00-$22.00
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00A – 5:00P

Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Operations Support:

  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance, inspections, and repairs for vehicles.
  • Maintain records for vehicles and their required documents.
  • Keep track of fuel usage, mileage, and maintenance schedules.
  • Participate in onboarding new drivers
  • Coordinate driver schedules and assignments to ensure for smooth operational process.
  • Act as the main point of contact for drivers to assist with paperwork and inquiries.

Office Administration Support:

  • Track and purchase supplies or equipment for office use.
  • Help manage schedules and calendars for team members.
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Assist with preparing reports, invoices, and order placements.
  • Maintain an organized filing system of records.
  • Work with vendors and providers for maintenance and office services.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Great multitasker
  • Detail oriented
  • Self-starter
