We are seeking an Administrative Assistant(Degreed) to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. This position is working for a private family investment office. Must have fast typing, strong word and excel with excellent spelling and grammar skills. Would love an English degree and experience in insurance, legal or real estate .MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF QUICKBOOKS EXPERIENCE Company pays 100% for Employee benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents.
- Assist President by preparing minutes, coordinating meetings and composing correspondence.
- A/P, A/R billing and deposits for our marina operations company
- Assist with executing property sales for multiple tracks of land and homes.
- Handle paperwork for multiple investments.
- Monitor insurance plans for multiple entities and work with agents to renew and adjust plans.
- Work with vendors to deal with landscape maintenance, construction and permitting for multiple tracks of land.
- Manage minutes, meeting details and documents for multiple charitable foundations.
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields.
- 4 year college degree highly preferred..
- 5 years Quickbooks experience
- A/P A/R and billing experience
- Excellent writing skills.
- Fast typing and strong excel skills.
- Experience working with property and Ad Valorem taxes and insurance policies a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
