We seek a full-time administrative assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various tasks that are vital to the smooth functioning of the firm. The ideal candidate will exceed expectations in friendliness, accuracy of information, and efficiency, contributing to better client relationships and satisfaction.
Primary requirements for the position are:
- Proven experience as a receptionist/legal assistant or in a similar role;
- English and Spanish proficiency, both verbal and written;
- Customer Service skills;
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners);
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Provide assistance in various administrative duties as required for the office area;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
- Maintain office filing system: File, organize, scan and copy documents;
- Manage attorneys calendars, including scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, and prioritizing the most sensitive matters;
- Ability to drive is a requirement for this position, as occasional travel to the immigration court, or running errands may be necessary;
- Other duties are assigned by management or as needed.
