About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and organized Tax Administrative Assistant to join our tax team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a background in tax filing. The position will be 20 hours per week except for tax season (twelve weeks per year) at 30 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients via phone and email, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Build relationships with customers and address their questions and concerns.
  • Attend client meetings to take notes and capture key information.
  • Convert financial statements from PDF to Excel using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Prepare documents in Adobe by editing and modifying PDFs.
  • Organize and manage filing systems and documentation in ShareFile.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings for the Vice President of Tax.
  • Retrieve and upload prior year tax returns and financial reports from Uplinq Bookkeeping.
  • Generate financial reports in QuickBooks Online as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Adobe, ShareFile, and Google Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Time management and good follow-through is a must.
