About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and organized Tax Administrative Assistant to join our tax team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a background in tax filing. The position will be 20 hours per week except for tax season (twelve weeks per year) at 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients via phone and email, ensuring a positive experience.
- Build relationships with customers and address their questions and concerns.
- Attend client meetings to take notes and capture key information.
- Convert financial statements from PDF to Excel using Adobe Acrobat.
- Prepare documents in Adobe by editing and modifying PDFs.
- Organize and manage filing systems and documentation in ShareFile.
- Assist with scheduling meetings for the Vice President of Tax.
- Retrieve and upload prior year tax returns and financial reports from Uplinq Bookkeeping.
- Generate financial reports in QuickBooks Online as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Adobe, ShareFile, and Google Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Time management and good follow-through is a must.
