Job Summary Middle Georgia State invites student applications for a student to work in the Office of the President 19 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Supports front office in the Office of the President, assisting with:
Institutional meetings and events
Data entry
Tracking correspondence
Social media, campus tours, and other public relations support for the President’s Office
Required Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University with a minimum of 6 credit hours
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
Professional demeanor, attention to detail and strong writing skills.
Interest in exposure to executive-level challenges and operations.
Experience sufficient to understand the work assigned, usually associated with 1 to 2 years of administrative or customer service experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Skill in identifying problems, researching potential solutions, and presenting options to supervisor.
Skill in interacting with interdisciplinary teams for the purpose of scheduling and reporting.
Knowledge of business communications principles, computers, and job-related software programs.
Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.
Skill in oral and written communication.
