is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time
Project Manager
in
Washington D.C. Key Responsibilities: Assists in the review and oversight of facilities projects designed to maintain, modernize and/or renovate existing facilities as well as construction of new facility projects and infrastructure. Develops design strategies for new construction projects and renovation of existing building interiors. Provides architectural and space planning solutions that include preparation of architectural drawings. Performs review of design intent drawings. Assists with managing facility projects that include building maintenance, operations, repair, and sustainment. Coordinates project schedules, resources, equipment, and information. Maintains project costs, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. Completes weekly and monthly internal and external reporting. Performs quality control and assurance inspections and surveys. Develops project briefings and presentations. Provides project team coordination for finished plans, specifications, and material selection required for construction. Develops AutoCAD construction drawings and performs support functions as directed to meet the budget, schedule, and project design goals. Collaborates with project team members to ensure compliance with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and safety, and Agency requirements. Gathers project requirements; develops statement of work, build estimates, develops schedules, and executes projects. Maintains and organizes project files, invoices, estimates, and vendor information. Investigates and resolves facility construction and renovation issues. Captures action items for project management teams, captures meeting minutes and disseminates to appropriate stakeholders. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering or other relative degree and 5 years of related experience with Federal government clients. Preferred candidates will possess a current security clearance or an active federal background investigation. Working knowledge of furniture procurement and installation. Ability to coordinate facility planning requirements, such as IT, Security, Infrastructure, and Construction. Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project. Ability to work in a dynamic environment. Ability to obtain and hold a Public Trust Background Investigation. Experience working as a contractor for federal agencies, specifically the Department of Homeland Security. Ability to pass a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation:
$110,000- $125,000
