This position will be part of the Enterprise Services team, which delivers a full suite of services to state agencies, boards, councils, and commissions, and many central services to local government partners.IT Data Analyst will be part of the IaaS/PaaS Analytic and Reporting team. The incumbent will act as the technical specialist for enterprise projects. They will draft project plans, perform system analysis, brief stakeholders on status, lead projects and perform business analysis functions using a standard data analysis tools and techniques. This position will have a lead role in extracting data, automating the collection of data, and transforming the way we analyze data. They will identify issues and opportunities to enhance data management and reporting and is responsible for detailed problem solving, data analysis, and data extraction. The incumbent will serve as the technical lead on implement, design, and help manage a central data extraction tool for IaaS/PaaS. Analyze datasets from complex systems within I/PaaS and related data from other MNIT Enterprise sources to establish relationships that provide accurate, multi-faceted reports to Executive Management, MNIT employees, and MNIT partners.This position is currently eligible for full-time telework:Telework (https://mn.gov/mmb-stat/policies/1422-telework.pdf) for Minnesota IT Services allows an employee to perform work from a telework location and an employee may be required to be in the office based on business needs and other dependencies in St. Paul, Minnesota.Only candidates located in Minnesota and bordering states (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) are telework eligible.Minimum QualificationsCandidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume.
