We are in search of a Financial Analyst to join our team located in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be expected to analyze financial data, prepare reports, forecast trends, and assist in decision-making processes. This position is part of the finance team and will contribute significantly to meeting our financial goals. This role is a contract to permanent placement role.
Responsibilities: • Analyze and interpret financial data to assist in the decision-making process • Prepare regular financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports • Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial performance and provide insights to senior management • Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and long-term financial plans • Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing financial performance analysis • Extract and consolidate financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness • Monitor costs and identify potential areas for cost reduction or process improvements • Ensure all financial practices comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support key business decisions.• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar position • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Financial Services • Good understanding and experience with CRM and Crystal Reports • Strong skills in Data Mining Techniques • Solid knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting • Experience in Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management • Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and present insights clearly • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields preferred • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently or as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
