Job Description: The Reconciliation Analyst will be responsible for the daily reconciliation of our funds and CLOs, collaborating closely with both internal teams (Asset Management, Treasury, Operations) and external partners (Trustees, Fund Administrators) to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of any breaks. This role requires a high degree of independence, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily reconciliations in the Indus Valley Partners recon tool, focusing on the clearing and escalation of breaks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Operations support, addressing loan position or attribute data discrepancies between Trustees and Fund Administrators.
  • Investigate and resolve transaction breaks, respond to inquiries from Treasury and Asset Management teams, and correct system data as needed.
  • Process principal, interest, and other portfolio activities in the subledger for Asset Management clients, funds, and balance sheet vehicles.
  • Professionally interact with internal team members (Operations, Asset Management, Finance/Treasury, Compliance) and external parties to address inquiries and engage in problem-solving.
  • Assist in project work and contribute to the identification of process improvements.
  • Recommend changes to internal Standard Operating Procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working cross-functionally.
