Robert Half is hiring: Budget Analyst in Miami

We are in search of a Budget Analyst to join our logistics team located in Miami, Florida. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and will involve the processing of financial data, creation of financial models, and the provision of key insights to drive business improvement. The Budget Analyst will also be responsible for conducting business studies, analyzing financial performance, and developing forecast models.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data to support decision-making processes

• Develop and maintain accurate financial models

• Conduct comprehensive business studies on past, future, and comparative performance

• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

• Provide alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and enhance financial performance

• Track and determine financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the critical drivers within the business to provide key insights

• Use business systems and accounting software effectively for financial analysis and reporting

• Adhere to auditing guidelines and budget processes while performing cost analysis.

• Proficient in 3M software and its application in logistics
• Skilled in using Abila MIP for financial management tasks
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Accounting Software Systems
• Ability to design and implement effective Banner Ads
• In-depth knowledge of Business Systems and their role in logistics
• Expertise in performing Accounting Functions relevant to the logistics industry
• Proven experience in managing and preparing the Annual Budget for logistics operations
• Proficient in Auditing procedures and practices in the logistics industry
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and their implementation in the logistics sector
• Strong skills in Cost Analysis and its application in logistics budgeting
