We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team based in Irvine, California. This role primarily involves the evaluation and interpretation of financial data, budgeting, forecasting, and assisting in strategic and business planning.
Responsibilities:
• Support the annual budgeting process by channel/cost center for the full P& L.
• Prepare monthly forecasts for sales, gross profit, and overhead expenses.
• Engage with business partners to gather information and facilitate informed financial decision-making.
• Analyze existing processes and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with Accounting to prepare, review, and distribute monthly financial reports.
• Develop and maintain key performance financial and operational metrics.
• Perform analysis to aid in decision-making for increased profitability and cash flow.
• Participate in the oversight of the monthly close process, ensuring accurate entries reflect business activities.
• Assist in strategic and business planning from a financial perspective.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and prepare various reports and presentations.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• Proficient in Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions
• Understanding of Accrual Accounting
• Experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Expertise in Capital Management
