We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial concepts to support our financial planning and analysis activities.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of experience in the field or in a related field
• Familiarity with financial programs and software, more specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency with pivot tables and other analytical tools within Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite a plus
• Basic understanding of principles of finance
• Must be located near Troy, MI to be considered. Will report to the office M-F

Financial Analyst Roles & Responsibilities
• Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support
• Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis based on business need(s)
• Evaluate and analyze M&A opportunities, including rate of return, pro forma analysis, etc.
• Analyze current and past financial data and performance
• Prepare reports and projections
• Evaluate and conduct due diligence related to investment opportunities
• Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Provide ad hoc analysis based on business needs across various department(s)
