Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Epic Analyst in White Plains, New York, United States. As an Epic Analyst, you will utilize your skills in Epic Cadence and ADT to provide analytical expertise in the development, implementation, and maintenance of patient access related Epic modules. You will be a part of our team, actively participating in various IT related activities and providing crucial support to our customers.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze current state workflows and provide daily support, identifying areas of optimization, and recommending improvements.
• Actively participate in governance committee meetings to prioritize, present, and discuss identified enhancement opportunities for build approval.
• Execute system changes in accordance with our IT Change Management Process, including creating test plans, documenting all testing outcomes, and obtaining approvals for Production migration.
• Actively participate and collaborate with other IT Analysts and Operational Leads on requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and maintenance of enhancements or projects as assigned.
• Provide timely, effective, and detail oriented customer support by proactively acknowledging, troubleshooting, and managing reported issues as they arise until resolution.
• Write and maintain accurate documentation of workflow for supported Epic applications and disseminate material to users.
• Perform coordination of vendor activities, including device integration testing, hardware or software installation.
• Create reports or dashboards upon requests (i.e. Workbench Reports, etc.).
• Participate in policy and procedure development as it relates to security, downtime, backup operations and disaster recovery activities.
• Proficient in Epic Cadence and ADT
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Epic System
• Holds a Certified Epic credential
• Understanding of healthcare IT and electronic medical records
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience in training and supporting end users
• Familiarity with healthcare workflows and processes
• Previous experience in Epic implementation or support is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient data confidentiality
• Possess strong customer service skills.
