Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Pay range: $45 - 55/hr
Location: Oakland, CA
Work Type: Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite

Are you a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst with a passion for data-driven decision-making?

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will involve working closely with various teams within the Information Technology organization to analyze financial and contractual data, develop insights, and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management: Maintain and improve financial databases and systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Financial Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards, highlighting key financial metrics, trends, and variances.
Contract Management: Support contract management activities, including financial analysis, issue resolution, and documentation.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness through process optimization.
Data Visualization: Utilize tools like Power BI to create impactful data visualizations.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
4+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or financial analysis.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
