Contract Duration: 15 months (Extension possible)
Pay rate: Upto C$100/hr
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Type: Hybrid, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

Job Description:

Are you a data-driven leader with a passion for transforming data into actionable insights?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting Strategic Advisor to join our Strategic Sourcing Group. This role will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy: Develop and implement data strategies aligned with business objectives.
Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and solve complex business problems.
Reporting and Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain data visualizations and dashboards.
Data Governance: Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with data governance standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analysts and data engineers.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence.
5+ years of experience in a senior management or leadership role.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with procurement data and reporting.
Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (AWS, Google BigQuery, Azure).
Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
